Salesforce
Create a Lead in Salesforce for every submission via Web-to-Lead.
How it works#
Salesforce connects through Web-to-Lead rather than OAuth — there's no login handshake. You paste your Salesforce Org ID, and each completed submission creates a Lead in your org.
Connect Salesforce#
- In Salesforce, open Setup → Web-to-Lead and click Enable (a one-time step).
- Open Setup → Company Information and copy your Salesforce.com Organization ID — it starts with 00D and is 15 or 18 characters.
- In Halloform, open your form's Integrations, choose Salesforce, and paste the Org ID. Optionally set a default Company and Lead Source.
What gets created#
Halloform auto-detects name, email, phone, company, and other standard Lead fields from the answers, and dumps the full submission into the Lead description so nothing is lost. Salesforce requires a last name and a company on every Lead, so add Name and Email questions; when no company is asked, the connector falls back to your default company or the form title.
Because Web-to-Lead has no auth handshake, we only validate the Org ID format at connect time — the first real submission confirms the end-to-end wiring.
