File upload field
Let respondents attach files — resumes, screenshots, PDFs, images.
What it does#
The File upload field lets respondents attach one or more files. Halloform uploads them to its file storage and stores a URL per file on the submission row.
Settings#
- Required — must attach at least one file to submit.
- Accepted types — pick categories (Images, PDF, Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations, Archives, Audio, Video) or specify extensions.
- Maximum file size — per-file cap, shown to the respondent.
- Minimum / maximum file count — for portfolio uploads.
Plan limits#
Free-plan forms accept up to 25 MB per file. Paid plans accept up to 500 MB per file. The cap is enforced on the server, so respondents can't bypass it by editing the page.
