Submission notes
Leave internal, team-only notes on a submission — a private discussion your respondents never see.
How it works#
Every submission has its own Discussion — an internal, team-only thread where your teammates leave notes about that response. Think of it as a private chat attached to the submission: triage a lead, flag a follow-up, or record what you did about it. It's separate from the submission's edit history, which is a read-only audit trail.
Add a note#
Open a submission on the Results page and find the Discussion panel (a column beside the answers on desktop, or the Discussion tab on mobile). Write a note and post it — press Ctrl/Cmd+Enter to send, or Enter for a new line, so notes can run to multiple lines. Each note shows who wrote it and when.
- Edit — the author can edit their own note; it's marked as edited.
- Delete — the author, or an organization admin, can remove a note.
Who can see them#
Notes are strictly internal. Only members of your organization can read or post them — respondents never see the Discussion, and it never appears on the form, in emails, or in any export.
