Multi select field
Pick one or more options from a list — shown as checkboxes or a searchable dropdown.
What it does#
The Multi select field lets respondents pick any number of options from a list. Submissions store the full set of picked labels — easy to filter in the results table. It replaces the old separate Checkboxes and Multi-select fields.
Checkboxes or dropdown#
Toggle the layout between Checkboxes (every option visible, best for short lists) and Dropdown (a searchable, chip-based picker, best for long lists like countries or product SKUs that would scroll forever as checkboxes).
Settings#
- Options — one per line, each with an optional description.
- Selection limits — set a minimum and/or maximum number of picks.
- Allow "Other" — adds a free-text option respondents can type into.
- Randomize options — shuffle the order on each load.
- Required — must pick at least one to submit.
